Nationally Known Nursing Home Risk Management Company Endorses Setting Realistic Expectations
Long Term Care (LTC) Alliance, a risk management company headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico has endorsed and recommends its nursing home clients use the education/liability presentation Setting Realistic Expectations.

The 15-minute video educates families/responsible parties to better understand the day-to-day aspects of life in a nursing home. It is to be shown during the admissions process, then given to the family to share with other relatives and keep for future reference. Upon viewing, families gain knowledge into the care and services nursing homes can and cannot provide, and why. This results in fewer misunderstandings and the opportunity for a reduction in lawsuits against the nursing home.

"As a former facility administrator and risk manager, I can fully appreciate the need to present information on nursing home life and having reasonable expectations to residents and their families", explains Ric Henry, President of LTC Alliance. "This video is a high quality production and presents this information in a clear, easy to follow format."

"We are excited to gain this endorsement," says Chip Kessler
Development Manager of Extended Care Products, Inc., producers and developers of Setting Realistic Expectations.
