Setting Realistic Expectations, Setting Realistic Expectations for Assisted Living Communities, and Care Plan Video Programs Now Available on DVD
Extended Care Products, Inc. producers and developers of the nursing home educational video programs Setting Realistic Expectations and Care Plans: The Most Important Person, along with Setting Realistic Expectations for Assisted Living Communities has announced that the presentations are now available on DVD.

"Many who have ordered programs on VHS video have requested they be available as well on DVD," says General Manager Chip Kessler. "We are pleased to be able to say that we have heard them and have now made these important family educational tools in a DVD version in order to take advantage of the latest in technology."

Setting Realistic Expectations helps educates families and responsible parties to have reasonable expectations regarding the level of care provided in all nursing homes. Nursing homes using the presentation report a reduction in the number of complaints and misunderstandings. With this comes the potential for a reduction in lawsuits against nursing homes as well.

Setting Realistic Expectations is to be shown during the admissions process, then given to the family to share with other relatives and keep for future reference.

Setting Realistic Expectations for Assisted Living Communities is used the exact same way with families admitting a loved one into the assisted living environment.

Care Plans: The Most Important Person helps families to stay active and involved with their loved one in the nursing home, and encourages family participation in the care planning process.
