Health Care Consulting Firm Endorses New Video
Health care consulting firm endorses new video

TAGWEB, a health care consulting firm that specializes in assisting both nursing home and assisted living providers, has made Extended Care Products’ new video, Setting Realistic Expectations, part of their admittance program.

“Setting Realistic Expectations with residents as to what you can and cannot do should be the first priority for any long-term care provider," Allan Thomas, TAGWEB’s president, said. “No one does it better than Extended Care Products' Setting Realistic Expectations video.

"This unique video is so critical to managing risk that we have included it as an integral part of our comprehensive risk management program for nursing home providers.”

TAGWEB provides long-term care providers with a risk management program designed to reduce the risk of the most common liability claims that are fueling the significant increases in liability insurance premiums across the country. Its role as an advocate to the provider assesses their operations entirely from a potential liability perspective and then offers specific recommendations and tools that will reduce future litigation.

“As more and more long-term care providers are finding themselves at risk for litigation, Setting Realistic Expectations is becoming a more integral part of their operations,” Chip Kessler, Extended Care Products director of product development and distribution, said. “If you avoid even one lawsuit, the savings will pay for a lifetime supply of this video.”

TAGWEB’s role is solely to assist long-term care providers with the knowledge and understanding of how to reduce the risk of health care liability claims.

“We are striving to help reduce frivolous litigation. Setting Realistic Expectations along with TAGWEB’s risk management program can accomplish that,” Kessler said.

Extended Care Products Inc., headquartered in Johnson City, Tenn., specializes in educational material that addresses issues specific to the long-term care industry.
